RABAT (Shot 24) – Aziz Ghali, President of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights, said on Saturday that his organization’s position on the Western Sahara dispute is to call for negotiations between Morocco and the Polisario Front to reach a political solution.
In a podcast interview, Ghali stated, “Any solution agreed upon by the parties to the conflict will be binding for us, and we will respect it.”
He also denied claims that his association supports the autonomy proposal presented by Morocco in 2007 as a resolution to the dispute.
